Privacy policy

A starting point, not legal advice. This page was drafted as a sensible baseline for a small coaching practice. Have it reviewed against your own circumstances before relying on it.

What this website collects

As little as possible, deliberately.

  • The application and contact forms collect your name, your email address and whatever you choose to write — nothing more. Keep it professional at this stage: the target, the timeline, what's in the way. Detailed personal or health information isn't needed here, and this form isn't the place for it. Messages are delivered by Formspree and arrive in my practice inbox.
  • Booking a fit call happens through Cal.com, which asks for your name, email and chosen time under its own privacy policy.
  • Analytics. This site uses Plausible, a privacy-first service that counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. No advertising trackers, ever.

What happens in coaching stays elsewhere

Coaching records — session notes, goals, 360° feedback, anything you share in the work itself — are not held on or connected to this website. They're kept securely and confidentially in line with the EMCC and ICF codes of ethics, and I explain exactly how in our first session.

Employer-funded coaching

If your employer pays for a programme, they get an invoice and — only if agreed upfront — attendance and broad themes. What you say in sessions stays between us, and you see anything shared before they do.

How long I keep website messages

Applications and enquiries are kept while we're in conversation and deleted within 12 months if we don't end up working together.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me what personal data I hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for corrections, or ask for it to be deleted. Email me and I'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
